Instructor — AI & Data Analytics

Overview

Delivers BSF Systems' in-demand AI & Data Analytics course — AI/ML foundations, generative AI, agent build and orchestration, model deployment, and an introduction to MLOps — for learners ranging from AI-curious professionals to aspiring AI/data practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Teach AI/ML foundations, generative AI, agent build and orchestration, model deployment, and MLOps fundamentals.
• Translate fast-moving AI and agent tooling into a stable, teachable curriculum, updating labs as the field moves.
• Guide learners through hands-on exercises to build and deploy a real AI agent or model, not theory alone.
• Prepare learners for AI Analyst, Prompt Specialist, AI Ethics & Governance Specialist, and Data Analyst/Specialist roles.
• Model responsible, ethical AI practice throughout instruction, given the course's coverage of AI governance.

Skills & Competencies

• Current, hands-on expertise in applied AI/ML: model deployment, generative AI and agent architectures, and agent-orchestration frameworks.
• Working knowledge of MLOps practices — versioning, CI/CD for ML, monitoring — sufficient to teach an introductory module credibly.
• Ability to make rapidly evolving AI and agent tooling concrete and teachable rather than hype-driven.
• Strong communication skills for a mixed-background audience, from AI-curious generalists to technical data practitioners.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field (required); Master's or PhD strongly preferred given the course's advanced agent/MLOps content.
• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in applied AI/ML, data science, or AI product development.
• Relevant certifications an asset: AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure AI Engineer, Google Professional ML Engineer, or a comparable recognized AI/data credential.
• Prior teaching, applied-AI consulting, or technical mentoring experience strongly preferred.

Compensation

Premium per-cohort contract rate reflecting advanced AI/ML expertise; BSF Systems' standard instructor agreement applies.
